Zetta Laveau (she/her) is a proud Latina performer and burlesque instructor, lighting up the Twin Cities since 2021. A Nudie Nubies Ultimate Reveal Champion, Zetta combines her cultural roots, lifelong experience in music, dance, and theater, and sharp stage-smarts to help students elevate their performance with polished moves, authentic audience connection, and confident self-expression. Known as The Lavish and Luscious Latina Seductress, she has performed across South America and the U.S., bringing bold flair, playful seduction, and irresistible energy to every class.

Dive into the sultry world of Latin cabaret and the legacy of the Vedettes in this movement-based workshop. We will focus on learning the fundamental steps and body movements of classic Latin rhythms—like mambo, cha-cha, and salsa—and how to incorporate them into your burlesque performances. We'll finish the class with a brief choreography that wraps up everything you’ve learned, inspiring you to incorporate these rhythms into your own creations!

Class is meant for all levels (no dance experience required), and modifications and adjustments are offered for the choreography portion.

Add dimension and texture to your burlesque performances by honing your musicality! This movement-based class focuses on improvisation through dance exercises that help you listen for different rhythmic patterns in a song and translate them into expressive, dynamic movement. Explore timing, phrasing, and musical accents to make your choreography truly come alive. We’ll finish by creating a short individual choreo that puts your new musicality skills into practice, creating a piece where the song is your best partner

(Hint: Come ready with that favorite song you know every beat to!)

Take your burlesque acts to new heights with Intro to Acro Chair! This class starts with a conditioning warm-up, flows into foundational acro chair moves, and finishes with a short choreography to put your skills on display. Build strength, confidence, and stage presence while adding a playful, acrobatic twist to your performances!

This is a beginner-level class, but students should be able to hold a plank position to participate safely.
