From booking to the final champagne toast - here’s how it works!

Book Your Party

Submit a booking request and Deeva will personally reach out to discuss your vision, the vibe you’re looking for, any special requests, and which package is the best fit for your group. We require a $150 non-refundable deposit to book your party.

Get Ready

Wear whatever makes you feel good! Some parties keep it casual with leggings and sports bras, while others go all out with booty shorts, fishnets, cute lingerie, disco cowboy hats, or flapper dresses.
Heels you’re comfortable in are welcome, but not required—barefoot, socks, clean sneakers, or dance shoes all work great. For the Take It Off package, please bring a robe or button-down shirt.

Arrive at the Studio

Our Minneapolis studio is a private, welcoming space designed for fun! Your instructor will kick things off with music and a quick warm-up before the party really gets going. Expect a positive, playful environment to move, groove, laugh, and let loose. There will also be plenty of time for photos and videos throughout the experience!

Learn & Celebrate

Every party is designed to build confidence gradually. We start with beginner-friendly movement and build up based on your group’s comfort level and energy. By the end, even the shyest person is usually serving attitude and fully joining in! Our instructors are experts at reading the room and adjusting the pace to make sure everyone feels comfortable, supported, and included.

Celebrate & Take Your Moves Home

Wrap up the party by showing off the fun moves you learned together in a relaxed, low-pressure final dance moment full of cheers, laughter, and hype from your group! If you added refreshments, this is the perfect time to snack, sip, and celebrate together. Groups who choose the champagne toast add-on will finish the experience by raising a glass to confidence, friendship, and an unforgettable time together. The guest of honor will also receive a special gift from The Rose Academy of Burlesque to remember the occasion!

Okay y’all, from the moment our group walked in, Rose Academy Burlesque made us feel welcomed, sexy, and safe! Deeva went and created a full choreo take-it-off routine to Lizzo’s “Lingerie” for my bestie’s bachelorette party. Your party can wear anything that makes them feel comfortable! That can range from athletic wear like sports bras and leggings, booty shorts and fishnets, cowboy boots and bright-colored wigs, flapper dresses, or even lingerie. As long as you can move safely and comfortably, wear whatever feels fun and true to you!
No! Feel free to take class barefoot, in clean sneakers, dance shoes, or comfortable heels. If you choose to wear heels, we recommend something with an ankle strap and a heel height you are already comfortable walking in.
A $150 non-refundable deposit is required to book and secure your party date and time.
The $150 non-refundable deposit is due at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due one week before your party.
Tips are always appreciated but never required. If you would like to tip your instructor, feel free to bring cash the day of your party or ask for their Venmo after class. All tips go directly to the instructors.
If scheduling allows, we offer one complimentary date and time change. If you cancel your party, the deposit is non-refundable. If you cancel after paying the full balance, payments made are non-refundable.
All parties are 18+.
Anyone over 18 that you’d like to invite! All genders, body types, ages, and abilities are welcome.
We recommend arriving up to 15 minutes early. There is space to change in the studio and restroom areas before and after your party.
No. Your instructor will demonstrate choreography and movements needed for class, but they will not be performing for the group.
Absolutely! Please take as many photos and videos of your group as you'd like. Our only request is that you do not film the instructor actively teaching choreography.
We understand this is a party setting, but we ask everyone to drink responsibly and at their own risk. Please keep in mind that classes are active, and we want everyone to stay safe and comfortable.

Anyone who is too intoxicated to take class will be asked to leave at the discretion of the instructor.
On-street metered parking is available on Lake Street and Lyndale Avenue. Free street parking can often be found on Aldrich and nearby side streets. There is also a parking garage across the street near Lake and Aldrich, as well as a surface lot behind Jungle Theater — both accept credit cards. Please do not park in the small lot directly behind the building.
