Explore burlesque in focused, one-time sessions on props, costuming, choreography, and more. Workshops are offered as available based on local and traveling performers schedules.

 
 
 

Wanting to elevate your chin pubes? In this manly makeup tutorial we will be covering various facial hair applications and techniques, color matching, symmetry, and eyebrows, eyebrows, eyebrows!

Students can bring their own makeup/equipment and follow along, take videos, or just watch and absorb the information!

More About Dusty!

Dusty Bahls is a sound, video, and performance artist who has been working in nightlife entertainment as a fire dancer, drag king, host, and DJ for over 20 years. He has also been teaching visual, audio, and performance art to children and adults since 1996. A graduate with a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Dusty has been applying his fine art education in a commercial art world all over the country since 2003. He believes conceptual art can be conveyed in an entertaining and inclusive way so that art can be enjoyed by every person experiencing it. He loves when he can share his excitement about art making with someone and if you want the knowledge, Dusty wants to give it to you!

The adrenaline is pumping and you're ready to drop to the ground, but what about your body? In this class we will discuss more accessible techniques for drop splits and splats (optical illusion splits), how to warm up for them, and ultimately how to protect your knees and hips while the crowd goes wild!

More About Dahlia:
Dahlia Fatale (she/her) is an award-winning, travelling contortionist, burlesque performer and instructor. In class, Dahlia brings together unique perspectives from dance, circus and anatomy education (yes, she's touched muscles from the inside too!) to create comprehensive programming that helps students to expand their movement vocabularies and physical awareness. She believes in movement for all humans, loves solving the puzzles of the body, and takes great pride in watching students grow and develop their styles, personas, and abilities!

She Started as a stripper 10 years ago till she found burlesque as the perfect blend of storytelling, movement & nudity! She is a 2x New York Burlesque Festival Golden Pastie Award winner and 2025 Arizona Burlesque Festival “Most Comedic” winner. Her work has been featured in Paper Magazine, Vevo, and on stages nationwide from the House of Blues in New Orleans to NYC’s Le Poisson Rouge.
