Step into the spotlight as part of the glamorous chorus in our brand new showcase at Volsteads Emporium. This class celebrates the timeless elegance of classic vintage showgirls and showponies, with a focus on precision, stage presence, and the magic as an ensemble!
As a member of the ensemble, you'll play a highly involved role throughout the showcase. The chorus will open the show with a short choreographed, playful number throughout the speakeasy, perform a group striptease, and help create seamless transitions between solo performances—including assisting with light stage cleanup and serving as our glamorous "Tip Babes."
Throughout the session, you'll refine your performance quality while embracing the sparkle, sophistication, and teamwork of a traditional chorus ensemble. Students will create one glamorous costume with support during two dedicated costume-building workshops.
Please note: Due to the performance requirements, students may enroll in either Polish & Shine or the Advanced Artistry class, but not both during the same session.

Pre-requisite: Completion of Group Performance Level One and Level Two

Students are allowed:
Up to two excused absences per session
Up to one unexcused absence per session
Excused Absences
An absence is considered excused when the student notifies the instructor no later than 4 hours before class begins.
Unexcused Absences
An absence is considered unexcused when:
A student does not show up to class without notice, or
A student notifies the instructor less than 4 hours before class begins.
Unfortunately emergencies do happen. If an emergency causes the need for an absence each situation will be navigated with care to figure out next steps.
Reporting an Absence
Students must notify their instructor directly through email or in the class's group chat if they will be missing class.

Attendance at the dress rehearsal during showcase week is mandatory.

Students who exceed the allowed number of absences (more than two excused absences and/or more than one unexcused absence) may be required to withdraw from the class without refund.
Students enrolled in a payment plan remain responsible for completing all scheduled payments, even if they are withdrawn from class due to attendance policy violations.
When signing up for a payment plan there is a second step that can be easily missed. Once you set up your payment plan you will receive an email that looks like the photo below. Make sure to click the blue "schedule" link to finish signing up for your class.
